The Occupational Therapy Assistant implements therapy treatment plans under the direction of an Occupational Therapist and prescribed by a physician licensed in the state of Alaska.

This posting is for multiple openings of an Occupational Therapy Assistant at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK. We offer several openings and various shifts. We are hiring for the following positions in the Occupational Therapy Department:

Occupational Therapy Assistant - Full-Time, 1.0 FTE, Day Shift, 40 Hours Per Week ($5,000 Hiring Bonus for eligible External hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment, and Relocation Assistance for qualified hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment)

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an associate degree program in Occupational Therapy Assistant, or equivalent education/experience
  • Upon hire: Alaska Occupational Therapy Assistant License OR
  • Upon hire: Alaska Occupational Therapy Assistant Limited Permit OR
  • Upon hire: Alaska Occupational Therapy Assistant Temporary License
  • Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year clinical experience with physical disabilities

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
