About the role

Job Description As a Senior Financial Analyst on the team, you will partner with key stakeholders in our Go-to-Marketing (GTM) organization to provide recommendations and insights. Success in this role requires a high-level of engagement with business partners and therefore requires exceptional people skills, a focus on teamwork, collaboration, and business acumen. You will be a leader in our business, on a high performing team at a market-leading company. In this role, you will:

Conduct GTM capacity and topline planning and forecasting, including commissions and quota setting.

Ad-hoc scenario analysis that drives actionable business changes.

Work with leadership to understand and develop new ways to analyze our financial results with emphasis on influencing profitability and growth.

Strive for operational improvement and automation of our financial reporting provided to leadership.

Prepare monthly metrics reporting support, assist with the monthly operating budget results and forecast updates by collaborating with leadership.

Work at various altitudes, from strategic/high level projects to detailed analysis.

Participate in the monthly close process; investigate and resolve issues.

Qualifications

Minimum 5+ years financial analysis experience in the technology industry, preferably SaaS or other subscription models.

Experience with the GTM function a plus.

BA/BS Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Admin, or similar discipline with analytical bias.

Technical: Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

Experience with SQL and systems such as Adaptive Insights, NetSuite, Salesforce, Tableau and Snowflake a plus.

Time management: you can re-prioritize at a moment's notice based on shifting business needs.

Communication: you are great at effectively working with and communicating to senior leadership.

Accuracy: you strive for excellence and have great attention to detail.

Compensation In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share the base salary range for this position is $82,200 - $123,200, exclusive of fringe benefits or potential bonuses. This position is also eligible for an annual corporate bonus of 10%. If you are hired at Payscale, your final base salary compensation will be determined based on factors such as skills, education, and/or experience. In addition to those factors – we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider any internal equity of our current team members as a part of any final offer. Please keep in mind that the range mentioned above is the full base salary range for the role. Hiring at the maximum of the range would not be typical in order to allow for future & continued salary growth. We also offer a generous compensation and benefits package (more information on benefits listed below).
