Job Summary:

In Systems Integration and Test (SI&T) we integrate, verify, and validate our products. We put our systems together, exercise them in the lab or in the field, measure and analyze performance, and make sure our products work the first time and every time. To accomplish, this we develop plans and procedures, debug and evaluate system functions and interfaces, develop test environments, and work hand-in-hand with our customers.

Our Agile Radar Solutions team in El Segundo, California integrates hardware and software, develops test plans and procedures, debugs and evaluates system functions and interfaces, and verifies system requirements in support of final sell-off to the customer.

This position is an onsite role

This position can be a Junior, Senior, or Post Graduate Technical Intern based on the candidate's qualifications and standing as outlined below:

• (Junior Technical Intern) - must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Junior by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment
• (Senior Technical Intern)- must be enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program and classified as a Senior by start of internship and provide proof of graduation prior to first day of employment
• (Post-Graduate Technical Intern) - must have an undergraduate degree and be enrolled in a graduate degree program (in degree fields listed in Qualifications You Must Have) by start of internship

What You Will Do:

• Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, activities in our labs.
• Support evaluation of our development modules
• Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment
• Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as MATLAB
• Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders

Responsibilities to Anticipate:

• Support planning and execution of Integration, Verification, modeling activities in our labs.
• Support evaluation of our development modules
• Support troubleshooting and failure data analyses, including root cause and corrective action processes and advanced use of lab or field test equipment
• Complete and compile detailed performance evaluations, including the use of analysis tools, such as Python
• Prepare and present results in reports and briefings to internal or external stakeholders

Basic Qualifications:.

• Must be a Junior, Senior, or Post-Graduate standing by Summer 2025 Pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s or Post Graduate Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) 

• Exposure to troubleshooting technical issues with electronics in an academic or internship setting.
• Exposure to data analysis using SW tools such as MATLAB or Python.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a US government issued secret security clearance is required. US citizenship is required, as only US citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with RF (radio Frequency) test and measurement equipment (spectrum analyzer, O-Scope and other general lab equipment).
• Experience with electrical schematics, interface control documentation, and communications protocols
• Experience with reading and integrating software routines with hardware/electronics; some software background preferred
