About the role
Responsibilities included:
- Learn and adhere to all applicable procedures required to perform assigned tasks
- Work independently with minimal supervision to deliver documentation and testing in support of validations and automation projects
- Perform other engineering and maintenance tasks as assigned
- Project support on mechanical engineering, systems/industrial engineering, biomedical engineering, computer engineering, computer science, or other related major applicable to manufacturing and automation design
- Follow quality system, perform tests, data collection, recording, analysis, and documentation, support validations as assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in university in an accredited Engineering or similar program
- Ability to read and carefully follow instructions and standard operating procedures
- Ability to program in at least one object-oriented programming language
- Excellent verbal and written communication
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team
Additional Skills Desired:
- Ability to program micro controllers (PLCs, Arduinos, Raspberry PIs, etc.)
- Ability to setup robot and/or motor controllers
- Ability to draw mechanical/electrical schematics with CAD software
- Additional project portfolios can be submitted
