Job Description:
We are seeking a versatile Material Handler to join our team, who will not only handle traditional warehousing duties but also assist in customer servicing, parts delivery, and raw material handling. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. As a Material Handler you will play a critical role in supporting the operations of Stores while ensuring exceptional service to our customers.
Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments of parts and raw materials.
Verify incoming goods documentation and ensure accurate inventory management.
Organize inventory and maintain a tidy warehouse space.
Prepare orders for shipment, including parts delivery and coordination of shipping activities.
Assist customers with inquiries, provide product information, and process orders.
Handle raw materials safely and in accordance with Microchip Policies and regulatory guidelines.
Conduct regualr inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies.
Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
Adhere to company policies and procedures, especially those related to safety and security.
Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Compressed Work Week (CWW): D-shift (night shift)
7:00 pm - 7:12 am: Wednesday - Friday & every other Saturday
Requirements/Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent.
Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively.
Proficiency in basic computer applications.
Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs, and stand for extended periods of time.
Flexible availability, including days and weekends, may be required.
