Licensed Practical Nurse - Lead Medication Nurse (56061)

Centurion is proud to be the provider of comprehensive healthcare services to the Maryland Department of Public Safety and Correctional Services.   We are currently seeking a part-time Day Shift Lead Medication Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Roxbury Correctional Institution in Hagerstown,  Maryland. 

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is responsible for providing holistic nursing care within the appropriate scope of practice to incarcerated patients while working under the direction of Registered Nurses (RN) and medical and psychiatric staff, to respond to a range of physical and behavioral health needs.

 Pay Rate Range : $33.75- $45.00 per hour depending on years of experience

• Must hold a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or ability to obtain one required 
• Minimum of one-year work experience as a LPN preferred in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long-term care environment preferred
• Must be appropriately and actively certified in Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) 
• Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
• Minimum of one-year work experience as a LPN preferred in a community outpatient clinic, hospital or long term care environment preferred
• Experience in a correctional environment preferred

Available Shift: Part-time Day Shift 8:00am - 4:30pm
