Compensation Range:

Anticipated Base compensation rate is in the range of $36.00 - $43.20 / Hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Expectations:

Maintenance and repair of hospital owned equipment, including normal and emergency power distribution systems, automatic transfer switches, and generator testing. Provides skilled repair, troubleshooting, maintenance of electrical wiring, lighting, lighting controls, motor controls, and hospital electrical systems, including nurse call system, public address system, fire alarm system, and building automation system. This position may require flexibility of hours, days, and occasional weekends.

EDUCATION:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.

EXPERIENCE/TRAINING:
Five years as a journeyman electrician, with trade school, military service, or equivalent training. Hospital experience preferred. Computer proficiency required.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Required:
EPA Section 608 Universal Certificate issued and verified by US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
Current California (CA) driver’s license.

SKILLS:
Knowledge of the trade practices and electrical codes, and ability to supervise and train others in their use.
Basic knowledge of Word, Excel and Outlook.
Basic working knowledge of BAS.
Good communication skills and a collaborative problem solver.
