JOB DESCRIPTION

The Risk Management framework centers on the principle of diversification across liquid strategies and capital preservation. The team provides a transparent and complete understanding of the risks to which the Firm is exposed using quantitative analysis and portfolio construction methods. The team works closely with the Management Team in investment talent selection and capital allocation decisions.

This role has the option to lead to full-time employment.

Responsibilities:

• Work with senior risk managers on analyzing portfolios and markets
• Applying quantitative techniques on multi-dimensional data to deliver insight
• Research innovative ways to display and communicate changes in risk and markets
• Assist risk managers in ensuring our framework is being monitored and appropriate action being taken
• Work with our risk technologists to ensure our infrastructure is continually improving

Qualifications:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's, master’s or PhD program in Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering or a related field, with a proven record of academic excellence
• Preferred candidates will have a basic understanding of financial instruments, derivatives, and financial engineering models. Knowledge of fixed income is an added advantage
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Practical programming experience in Python (or other languages) aligned with appropriate coding practices
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Passion to learn and willingness to adapt in a fast-paced, demanding environment

The salary range for this position is $25-$30 per hour.
