Work Schedule: This position is in Irvine, CA and will require to be onsite 5 days a week.
How you will make an impact...
- Determine and discern detailed requirements on security and video systems installations projects in collaboration with local site Facilities/Construction counterparts and manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs
- Specify, select, review and approve access control and video surveillance equipment in accordance with Edwards standards for new and retrofit projects worldwide
- Apply technical knowledge, skills, and business principles to assess vulnerabilities, hazards and risk in alignment with tactical requirements.
- Oversight for regular assessments of physical security and video surveillance equipment to optimize reliability, uptime, system security, and scalability.
- Utilize security system reporting data for incident investigation, and take or recommend appropriate actions.
- Collaborate with internal departments for vendor management and negotiation of security equipment sourcing, installation, service and repair.
- Provide recommendations on the development of design standards for security access and video surveillance systems equipment and functionalities
- Provide feedback on the development, review and revision of the Security project planning and design process for new and retrofit construction, system modifications and replacements
- Execute response procedures and activities in a fast-paced environment that requires prioritizing a wide range of incident, system, and service issues. Multi-task, providing a balance between security, service, monitoring and notification using best practice methodologies and problem solving skills.

What you'll need (Required):
- Bachelor's Degree in in related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience of hands on experience working with security systems and procedures
- Must be able to work in a team environment, including the ability to manage vendors and project stakeholders
What else we look for (Preferred):
- Previous experience with Genetec and CCURE 9000 systems
- Good computer skills in usage of MS Office Suite and related systems
- Good written and verbal communication skills including relationship management skills
- Substantial understanding and knowledge of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to managing security systems
- Good problem-solving, organizational, analytical and critical thinking skills
- Strict attention to detail
- Ability to interact professionally with all organizational levels
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environment
- Ability to build productive internal/external working relationships

For California, the base pay range for this position is $69,000 to $97,000 (highly experienced).
The pay for the successful candidate will depend on various factors (e.g., qualifications, education, prior experience).
