Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a field applicable to this position or equivalent experience
- 2 years’ experience in Corporate Accounting or Finance or equivalent experience
- knowledge of accounting principles and general business practices
- knowledge of Business Analysis
- ability and willingness to demonstrate eagerness, enthusiasm, optimism, and passion when working
- ability to set priorities, plan and coordinate work activities
- ability to inspect, cleanse, transform and model data from various sources with the goal of discovering useful information/trends, informing conclusion and supporting decision-making
- ability to interpret, analyze, and explain financial information

- strategic thinking including the ability to see and understand the bigger picture of what the organization is, where it needs to go, and how it will get there
- negotiation skills
- written and verbal communication skills
- intermediate skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- knowledge of Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as Power BI or comparable platforms
- ability to work nights, weekends, and extended hours as business needs require
Preferred Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting/ Finance
- 2 years in financial analysis, planning, process improvements and accounting principles
- knowledge of project management techniques and continuous quality improvement methodology
- basic knowledge of Corporate Accounting functions and Publix Operations
- basic knowledge of Internal Controls and SOX regulations
- advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
- knowledge of Alteryx for data preparation, blending, analysis, and workflow automation
- knowledge of Microsoft Visio for creating process flows, system diagrams, and business process models
- knowledge of Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Dataverse
- knowledge of SAP/BW
