Comcast is looking for a Data Analytics & BI Analyst to support our Capital Finance (CapEx) team, focusing on invoice analysis, P&L insights, and financial data reporting.
In this role, you’ll work cross-functionally to collect, analyze, and model data that supports key financial decisions. You’ll help uncover trends, optimize reporting, and support business strategy through thoughtful analytics. We’re looking for someone who’s comfortable with tools like SQL, Python, and MDX, or excited to learn them, and who thrives in a fast-paced, learning-focused environment.
What You’ll Do:
Analyze invoice and P&L data to support CapEx financial operations.
Retrieve and summarize data from various sources to identify trends and business opportunities.
Build and maintain reports and dashboards that support financial and operational decision-making.
Collaborate with finance and analytics teams to align data insights with business goals.
Apply or learn tools like SQL, Python, MDX, and other BI platforms to enhance reporting and analysis.
What You’ll Bring:
Familiarity with or interest in learning SQL, Python, and MDX.
Strong attention to detail and a passion for working with financial data.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams.

Job Description
Core Responsibilities
- Leads discussions with business leaders and stakeholders to understand data and analysis needs and develop technical requirements.
- Determines relevancy of data and identifies alternative data sources as needed to ensure analytics requested by business stakeholders can be completed.
- Analyzes large, complex data to determine actionable business insights using self-service analytics and reporting tools.
- Queries disparate big data platforms such as Teradata, SQL Server, Hadoop, and AWS.
- Combines data as needed from disparate data sources to complete analysis.
- Identifies key business drivers and insights by conducting exploratory data analysis and hypothesis testing.
- Develops forecasting models to predict sales, demand and other key business metrics.
- Analyzes the results of campaigns, offers or initiatives to measure their effectiveness and identifies opportunities for improvement.
- Communicates findings clearly and concisely through narrative-driven presentations and effective data visualizations to Company executives and decision makers.
- Promotes and evangelizes a culture of excellence, data driven discussions, healthy skepticism, intellectual curiosity, knowledge sharing, and teamwork.
- Stays current with emerging trends in analytics, statistics, and machine learning and applies them to business challenges.
- Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
- Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
