O41SWE2 - Mid Level Software Engineer - Cleared

We are looking for a fully cleared mid level software engineer!

Requirements

TS/SCI with poly required

• Fourteen (14) years of experience as a SWE in projects of similar scope, type, and complexity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering Science, Engineering Management or related discipline from an accredited college or university is required.
• Five (5) years of additional SWE experience on projects with similar software processes may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes in designing, implementing, and managing Kubernetes clusters working in conjunction with Docker containers.
• Hands-on experience designing, building, and maintaining Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery (Cl/CD) build pipelines with industry tools that enable successful automated testing and integration.
• Hands-on experience with Docker, Jenkins, Git, GitLab, Java, and the Atlassian Suite: Jira, FishEye+ Crucible
• Ability to automate and orchestrate project builds for deliverables and releases.
• Communicate project-related concerns and issues between SW team leads.
• Support Cl/CD tools for integration, operations, change management and maintenance.
• Support full automation of Cl development.
• Develop policies, standards, guidelines, governance, and related guidance for both Cl/CD operations and for work performed by developers.
• Support developers from source control, through build automation, merge resolution, Cl, testing automation and deployment based on tools usage.
• Enable DevOps by moving code from Dev/Test and fine tuning the CI/CD pipeline.
• Coordinate release schedule and resources required depending upon the defects, build challenges, and infrastructure updates.
• Communicate with SW leads regularly to ensure software deliverables are committed, built, branched, packaged, and deployed successfully.
• Make improvements Cl/CD methodologies to help find ways to create a more efficient process and provide stable software release.

• Lead the design, development and installation of deployment processes
• Build, design and maintain Cl/CD pipeline in multiple environments
• Install, configure, integrate and manage additional Cl/CD tools in the environment
• Build packages using RPM and Yum
• Integration of code review tools
• Experience with Nexus Sonatype
