Medtronic is looking for a Sr Supply Chain Planning Manager Acute Care & Monitoring. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned. For the Acute Care & Monitoring (ACM) Operating Unit:
Act as key participant/owner in monthly Integrated Business Planning (IBP), Demand Forecasting cycles and Master Production Scheduling (MPS) cycles managing long-term rough-cut capacity views with scenario planning that allows for identification and escalation of exceptions for business consideration, and the suggestion of possible scenarios and solutions.
Serve as liaison to finance teams and plant operations with regards to volume planning and plant loading.
Build effective teams and develop direct reports and others.
Function skillfully as the key core team member for large-scale, complex projects providing value that reaches beyond the supply chain role.
Lead supply planning activities for new product launches within areas of responsibility.
Effectively manage the supply chain to meet and exceed KPI’s relating to service levels, net requirement attainment, inventory levels/inventory weeks, forecast accuracy, and backorder dollars/days.
Drive the Inventory Management Plan for all levels of inventory (RM, WIP and FG). Ensures the plan includes stocking levels to meet customer requirements as well as achieving the company’s financial objectives. Work with other Medtronic facilities to maximize inventory efficiency at a global operations scale.
Champion initiatives to reduce end-to-end supply chain lead-time and costs.
Facilitate communication between Global and Regional Supply Chain groups and plant networks.
Provide global communication of KPI and other related supply chain performance indicators.
Coordinate long range site level capacity planning systems, highlighting risks and opportunities related to capital deployment and ability to meet product demand.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor’s degree required
Minimum of 7 years of relevant Supply Chain experience with 5+ years of managerial experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of relevant Supply Chain experience with 5+ years of managerial experience
