Pricing Analyst- Spot

Our Pricing Analyst for Spot Freight will be responsible for providing our customer base with accurate market rates, monitoring incoming rates from our capacity providers, and responding to customers' ad hoc load requests.

In this role, we expect you to have strong logical reasoning skills and business intelligence. The ability to communicate effectively is essential. Solid industry experience is a plus.

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Understand business needs and objectives
• Develop strategies for effective pricing and market analysis and reporting
• Work with operations managers to understand market trends and current capacity
• Ensure customers are receiving the truest market rates possible
• Work with Operations to help increase margins

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Proven experience as a market analyst is preferred
• Knowledge of Excel
• Great communication skills
• Analytical skills and strong organizational abilities
• Attention to detail
• Problem-solving aptitude

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
