As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Patrol in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post requiring a valid driver's license. You will support daily operations through strong communication, customer service, and a teamwork-driven approach that reflects our agile, reliable, innovative, and integrity-focused values.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout operational areas, access points, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual conditions, policy violations, and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and help support controlled access to restricted areas.
• Communicate with site personnel, first responders, and/or Allied Universal team members regarding incidents, maintenance concerns, and other security-related matters that may affect daily operations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
