Job Summary

The Retail Technology Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the integrity and functionality of the Point-of-Sale (POS) database. This position requires close collaboration with Retail Finance, Compass Digital, and Volante teams to maintain accurate data structures and ensure seamless menu navigation.

Additionally, the Retail Technology Specialist provides leadership and support to field operations, helping teams effectively utilize the Volante system. Responsibilities include conducting menu support calls, training sessions, and offering troubleshooting assistance. The Retail Technology Specialist reports to the Sr. Retail Technology Manager at Morrison Healthcare.

 

Key Responsibilities:

· Host menu calls for new and transitioning accounts.

· Ensure menu completion sign-off before designated milestone dates.

· Convert and maintain large menu datasets in a user-friendly, structured format for efficient build-outs.

· Maintain the POS database, ensuring intuitive navigation, accurate reporting, and alignment with finance team requirements.

· Analyze menu mapping and customer flow to enhance the digital customer experience.

· Identify and implement efficiencies within existing technology platforms.

· Participate in new technology and robotics implementations, providing oversight and guidance.

· Utilize reporting platforms to assist in data gathering, business intelligence, and strategic decision-making.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology,

Food Services Technology/Management, or a related field (preferred).

1-3 years of experience in retail operational foodservice management (preferred).
