Maintenance Mechanic

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Daily maintenance and repairs on bindery folding machines & printing presses
• Troubleshoot and fix mechanical and electrical problems on folding machines & printing presses
• Plan, schedule and perform routine preventative maintenance on folding machines
• Perform building maintenance when needed
• Purchase parts and supplies

Qualifications

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Excellent mechanical skills
• Knowledge of scheduling preventative maintenance
• Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
• Basic electrical skills
• Basic pneumatic skills
• Basic knowledge of machine shop and welding
• Good mathematical skills and able to read, write and speak English
• Must be a team player with all departments

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Ability to maneuver in tight spaces.
• To do a lot of bending and reaching
• Ability to lift between 35-50 lbs.
• Ability to move heavy equipment
• Forklift and Hi Lo experience a plus
