Description
This is an open and continuous posting for full-time and part-time positions on multiple shifts for newly licensed Registered Nurses.
Tewksbury Hospital operated by the Department of Public Health (DPH), a 370 bed Joint Commission accredited hospital, is currently seeking caring and attentive individuals to serve as a Registered Nurse I working 24, 32, or 40 hours per week on the 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift. Openings are on the DPH Medical Units at Tewksbury Hospital. The hospital provides comprehensive treatment, care, and comfort to adults with medical and/or mental illnesses.
Please note: After Nursing Orientation, these positions are 24, 32 or 40 hours per week on assigned shift. Required to work every other weekend; other days off as assigned.
Shifts: 1st shift: 6:45 am - 3:15 pm; 2nd shift: 2:45pm - 11:15pm- 3rd shift: 11:00 pm - 7:00 am
Employees in this position will be required to perform mandatory overtime
Annual Base Rate Salary Range does not reflect shift differential.
Annual Base Salary for 24 hours per week: $49,740.28 - $83,000.73
Annual Base Salary for 32 hours per week: $66,320.38 - $110,667.64
Annual Base Salary for 40 hours per week: $82,900.48 - $138,334.56
General Summary of RN I/Staff Nurse Duties (these are a general summary and not all-inclusive):
The RN I provides direct care to patients between 20 - 100+ years of age with chronic medical problems, with acute exacerbation at times and with diminished capabilities in ADL’s needing consistent nursing care. Must assess, plan, implement and evaluate the direct and indirect care needs of patients. Provides direction and supervision to other staff.
