Shifts are 13hrs. Day/Night Rotation. Day hours: 6:30am-7:30pm, Night Hours: 6:30pm-7:30am. Night requirements are minimal.
Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), located in Boston, MA currently has an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our cutting-edge Inpatient Oncology team, caring for patients with hematologic malignancies and those receiving cellular therapies and bone marrow transplant.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the care of patients on a 32-bed unit in collaboration with oncologists and the interdisciplinary team. Responsibilities include participating in daily interdisciplinary rounds, collaboratively develop and implement care plans, coordinating tests and consultations, communicating with referring clinicians and consults, performing patient education, and preparing patients for discharge.

- Minimum 2 years of prior experience in an acute care/inpatient environment (either as RN or APP), with medicine, ICU or oncology experience highly desirable. - Master’s degree in nursing, national certification in advanced practice nursing OR master’s degree in physician associate studies, with certification by NCCPA
The Nurse Practitioner (NP) is a licensed provider. The NP is responsible for the assessment and management of various populations of patients, medical and/or surgical, including diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, development of appropriate plans of care and ongoing evaluation.
