The Operations Manager in our Transportation Fleet Maintenance is a crucial role that thinks while leading, motivating, and developing a team of managers.

About Transportation Fleet Maintenance

The Operations Manager reports directly to the Regional Maintenance Manager with a mission to provide a world class preventative maintenance program to our private fleet tractors, trailers, and equipment. You will play an important part in our success by maintaining our private fleet and allowing them to deliver essential goods to our customers.

What you'll do:

• Oversee day to day operations of Tractor and Trailer shop. Manage team of 4 direct report Managers and up to 30+ hourly associates

• Oversee P&L, parts, warranty, capital projects, in-service, and de-service of equipment.

• Work with dispatch operations on needs and provide plans and support.

• Assist in offsite facilities where company equipment is staged.

• Promote a safe work environment.

• Oversee compliance of all equipment in work area.

What you'll bring:

• Class 8 mechanical background.

• 1+ years of experience as an Operations Manager

• Working knowledge of service shop operations and procedures.

• Excellent customer service and the ability to motivate and lead a team.
