Position Summary:
The DataSphere Lab Consultant /Marketing & Promotion will be part of the Marketing and promotion team. They will be contributing to the development of marketing assets (posters, presentation decks, one pagers); establishing the promotion strategy (via social media, else) and will be contributing to the organization of event with clients, potential partners and other stakeholders. 


Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field. Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas for content that stands out and captures the audience's attention.  Proven experience as a marketing/promotional content developer, social media manager, technical writer, or similar role. Experience organizing large events (ie. workshop, networking event, etc). Excellent writing and communication skills, with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear and engaging content. 
Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to gather and synthesize information from multiple sources. Experience in promotional content design (adobe, canva,..) and video editing is a plus. Knowledge of French and English: McGill University is an English-language university where day to day duties may require English communication both verbally and in writing. The level of English required for this position has been assessed at a level #4 on a scale of 0-4.
