As a Facility Manager with OMES you will enjoy:

Position Summary
The purpose of this position is to assist in the planning and coordination of the overall activities of an assigned state-owned building involving construction, maintenance & repair, energy conservation and fire prevention programs.
Job Details
Full-time 40-hour work weeks.
Support the Capital Asset Management Division.
Salary is up to $67,000 based on education and experience.
This is an on-site position located in Oklahoma City, OK.
Responsibilities
Oversee the status of systems, work orders and construction projects within an assigned facility.
Conducts inspections of building and equipment.
Estimates costs for labor and material.
Plans and schedules preventive and general maintenance programs for building operating equipment, to include but not limited to alteration or construction activities, HVAC, plumbing, electrical, finishes and division material inventory.
Completes assigned Preventive Maintenance (PM) inspection schedules for assigned building including properly documenting deficiencies in the Integrated Work Management System (IWMS).
Oversee event setups within the assigned facility to ensure occupant safety.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position works both inside and outside, exposed to environmental elements for a large percentage of the workday. The noise level in the work environment is usually mild to loud and could require the use of safety equipment. This position requires standing, bending, crouching, pushing/pulling, lifting/moving/carrying up to 25-50 pounds, and climbing ladders/stairs. Occasional travel may be required.
Minimum Qualifications
Education and experience requirements consist of a High School diploma or GED, AND 4 years of experience in construction, maintenance, or a skilled building trade.
Preference will be given to candidates who possess
Experience with Integrated Work Management System (IWMS), access control systems and fire alarm systems.
