Title: Customer Success Upgrade Project Manager
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
The Customer Success Upgrade Project Manager on the Customer Success team is responsible for managing and overseeing multiple customer upgrade projects to ensure successful and on-time delivery of solutions for clients. This role includes managing project scopes, schedules, risks, and deliverables while fostering collaboration across diverse teams. As an individual contributor, this position will focus on managing project resources and mentoring team members to drive efficiency and maintain alignment with Duck Creek Technologies' mission, vision, and values. Lead and manage project teams to deliver client-focused solutions.
- Oversee day-to-day project activities, schedules, and deliverables.
- Prepare comprehensive project plans, including detailed schedules, estimates, and resource allocation.
- Monitor project milestones and ensure consistent reporting on deliverables, risks, and issues.
- Manage project scope and implement change management processes when necessary.
- Communicate project progress and key updates to leadership and stakeholders, including customers and executives.
- Analyze interdependencies between business needs, operations, and technology to identify potential risks.
- Develop and deliver progress reports, presentations, and updates tailored to diverse audiences.
- Mentor, guide, and develop team members to foster professional growth and enhance team performance.
- Ensure compliance with Duck Creek's core values and operating principles across project execution.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align goals and expectations.
- Execute all duties in alignment with Duck Creek's mission to empower insurers and provide innovative technology solutions.
WHAT YOU’VE DONE:
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
- Minimum of 8 years of professional experience, preferably in project management or a similar role.
- Demonstrated success in leading projects on-time, within budget, and within scope.
- Proven experience managing and motivating cross-functional project teams.
PREFERRED:
- Advanced degree in a related discipline (e.g., business administration, engineering, or IT).
- Familiarity with the insurance technology industry.
- Experience with enterprise software implementation projects.
