About the role

Overview

The purpose of this position is to provide advanced training to a recent doctor of pharmacy graduate, with particular emphasis on development of strong communication and clinical and drug information skills. Under the supervision of the director and managers, perform all duties necessary to provide for the effective daily operation of all departmental dispensing and clinical services. Supervises support staff in all work performed. Demonstrates competence to provide pharmaceutical care for neonatal (birth-discharge), pediatric (birth-11 years), adolescent (12-18), adult (19-65), and geriatric (66-over) patients.

Qualifications

Education & Training:  Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from an accredited College of Pharmacy

 

Experience:  Hospital experience desired

 

License & Certification:  Registered pharmacist or eligible for registration in Kentucky
