General Summary
Technician is responsible for performing trouble shooting, repair, planned maintenance and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Responsible for fabrication or modification of equipment to Leprino specs and standards.
2. Responsible for the installation of new or used equipment.
3. Responsible for repairs of building and all plant equipment.
4. Responsible for plant preventative maintenance.
5. Responsible to promptly respond to any equipment break downs or downtime when applicable.
6. Responsible to assist in shift coverage when applicable.
7. Responsible for welding repairs to plant equipment.
8. Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
9. Responsible to fulfill MEP requirements.
10. Perform any other duties as required by Maintenance Manager, Supervisor or Group Leader

QUALIFICATIONS

1. Must demonstrate knowledge of previous maintenance experience.
2. Welding skills including: arc, tig, mig, and sanitary welding.
3. Ability to design, layout and fabricate.
4. Ability to read blue prints and P&ID drawing.
5. Ability to work well with outside contractors.
6. Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
7. Working knowledge of manufacturing equipment.
8. Ability to operate a forklift.
9. Knowledge and ability to perform work in a safe and organized manner.
10. Knowledge of proper safe use of hand tools.
11. Must have the ability to complete all assigned paperwork, per assignment.
12. Must have electrical experience in an industrial environment.
13. Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
14. Ability to operate heavy equipment as needed (scissor lift, knuckle boom lift, variable forklift equipment).
15. Must be able to provide Valid driver’s license to operate vehicles.
16. Must be able to obtain/provide forklift and heavy equipment licenses.
