Role

As the Line In-charge Final Inspection you will be part of the Quality and will report to the Manufacturing Quality Section Head Final Inspection. The purpose of your role will be to Ensure implementation of quality assurance/control and inspection systems, for highest quality of HMCL manufactured vehicles.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:

•  Inspection of 100% vehicles as per defined SOP and Acceptance Quality Level.
•   Monitoring Test riders’ wise issues
•  Taking Improvement actions
•  Defined manpower deployment Line wise
•  Co-ordination for Man-power availability as per defined Productivity chart.
•  Maintaining discipline and consistent output of the Test riders
•  Test riders Output monitoring.
•  Counselling and trainings for improvement
•  Timely clearance of the vehicles after Final inspection.
•  Co-ordination with the Shift wise counter parts Frame assembly/PPC/OBL for smooth vehicles clearance from Final inspection
•  Maintaining 5s, Safety and TPM culture in Department
•  Conducting Safety Meetings, Various Audits of the Department
•  Carrying out regular maintenance of equipment’s and infrastructure
•  Support in carrying out external COP’s
•  Vehicles arrangements,
•  Documents preparation and  Co-ordination for External COP’s

A Day in the life

• Handle multiple manpower models (tenure-based) and IR-related manpower issues
• Ensure finished product quality dependent on multiple stakeholders
• Co-ordination with Cross Functional Teams for New Model Quality related concerns, Product/Process, Equipment maintenance, Bought out Parts, Market issues, Improvement in design, New model testing, New model testing, COP & TPM
• Co-ordination with External Agencies for Problem resolutions & Surveys, COP of vehicles, Joint PDI, MQS, Problem resolution in Field.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.tech (Mechanical or Automobile)

3-5 yrs Experience
