Senior Client Manager

Description

BETA Group is looking for an experienced Senior Client Manager who can oversee the implementation of business objectives in the Civil Engineering/Environmental Engineering industry. The ideal candidate will drive an effective sales approach that expands our reach, strengthens client relationships, and partners with multiple engineering/environmental disciplines to drive measurable results; that will boost revenue and set BETA Group apart. 

Responsibilities:

• Assist with organizing, planning, and scheduling the firm’s business development activities in the areas of GIS & Asset Management, Landscape Architecture, Water, Wastewater, Stormwater, Environmental, Climate Resiliency, Transportation and Traffic, Civil & Site, Structural, & Construction Services. 
• Identify potential public and private clients, project leads, teaming opportunities, and new growth areas through systematic research and networking.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, communities, state agencies, and partners.
• Research and identify funding opportunities for clients and future projects.
• Represent the firm at events, tradeshows, and meetings.
• Participate in trade associations and regional public works/highway associations meetings and events (e.g., NBM, MHA, Essex County, Worcester County, APWA, ACEC, Maine APWA, NH Highway Assoc.).
• Assist with project coordination on pavement management, construction services and other related projects
• Manage and input data into the CRM system.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
• Civil Engineering industry sales experience
• Proven record of sales growth and strong sales growth techniques
• Exceptional project management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Suite
• Must be able to stand or sit for long periods of time
• Must have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
