Certified Surgical Tech 7500 bonus

Murray/Calloway County Hospital seeks a Certified Surgical Tech.  This is a full time position with excellent benefits.  Hours are M-F,  6:30 am - 3:00 pm with call rotation.

Job Description:

Works under the direct supervision of the OR Unit Coordinator and the Director of Perioperative Services, maintains the sterile field in the operating room, being constantly vigilant to see that proper aseptic techniques are utilized to prevent contamination and infection and assists the surgical team as the sterile member who passes instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery.

Required Licenses and Certifications:

• Current certification as a surgical tech
• BLS certification maintained

Minimum Work Experience:

• Experience as a Surgical Tech preferred

Minimum Education:

• High School diploma or GED
