About the role

CSA is seeking a Business Analyst who will provide our Navy client with information technology support as part of the Project Management team.

Responsibilities

  • Performs project Management (PM) functions in accordance with PM best practices for integration of Navy CIO project initiatives, including system installation/service support, oversight, and maintenance.   
  • Provides IT Service management responsibilities, to include mobile service management support, asset management validation, and transition management oversight (i.e., seat refresh & OS Refresh).   
  • Applies technical and project management expertise in collaboration with other team members to develop requirements, identify tasking, manage project execution, recognize, report, and remediate issues representing schedule risk.   
  • Provide suggestions to improve project execution and complete project deliverables on behalf of the NETC CIO staff.   
  • Organize, direct, coordinate, and communicate the planning and production of all activities associated with assigned projects, including configuration management, change management, and resource coordination.   

Qualifications

  • Minimum three (3) years of related experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Functional expertise with Microsoft Office suite of products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project
  • Navy Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) baseline certification to include CompTIA Security+ 
  • IA Contractor Training and Certification and Computing Environment (CE) certification may be required at the task order level. 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Project Management Institute (PMI), Agile Scrum, ITIL or other industry recognized certifications 
  • Navy Cyber Security Workforce (CSWF) baseline certification to include OS Certification 
  • IT project management experience supporting Navy or DoD network systems, especially the Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) 
  • Experience supporting Navy system design, sustainment, and/or integration 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including drafting, reviewing, and editing technical graphs, briefs, or documents 
  • Evidence of being detail oriented and has strong critical thinking in areas of IT process analysis / process improvement 
  • Possesses Good Team Skills having the ability to coordinate and work well with others
