Regional Trainer - Chicago

Grow with TLC!   We are looking for a Regional Trainer who will train our Chicagoland and Evanston team members.  This person reports to the Vice Presidents of Operations for Urban South and Urban North.  The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with exceptional presentation skills and training and employee development experience within the residential property management industry. The position requires a detail-oriented self-starter who will plan, schedule, prepare and present training classes for our onsite team members.

The corporate office and the urban training center are located in Chicago. Travel to all TLC locations is required.

Qualifications

• 5 years’ experience in Residential Property Management and in a leadership role
• 2 years’ experience training new and existing team members
• Excellent interpersonal communication both written and oral
• Strong public speaking and group facilitation skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Exemplary model of exceptional Customer Service
• Ability to prioritize work and meet deadlines
• Willingness to learn new skills and develop new competencies based on program needs
• Collaborator with a positive and professional attitude
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• LMS (Gracehill/Ellis/E2L) proficient a plus
• Yardi and CRM proficient is a plus
• Willingness to travel within the Chicagoland area
• Access to a vehicle and valid driver's license
   

Regional Responsibilities

The Regional Trainer will primarily focus on education and development.  The following is a snapshot of the position responsibilities.  The Regional Trainer will assist with additional company-wide projects and training as necessary.

• Onboard new team members
• Train position specific Computer Systems, Policy and Procedure, and Customer Service
• Plan, prepare, present and track in-person and virtual training classes
• Document, report, and provide feedback to the Vice President of Operations regarding staffing issues and growth
• Coordinate and contribute to Employee Engagement and Recognition events.
• Create position-specific learning modules and career path programs.
• Manage and track online learning using the LMS platform.
• Work closely with other department team members to coordinate, schedule and follow up on training initiatives. 
• Implement and track the secret shopping program.
• Manage the Peer Training and Mentor Program.
