Sr. Software Engineer (REMOTE)

Key Responsibilities & Job Description:

• Research, design, and develop computer software and production applications.
• Independently develop and consistently redesign/refactor product to adapt to customer and associate needs.
• Involved in product and tool selection, configuration, security, resilience, performance tuning and production monitoring.
• Mentor less experienced engineers. Develop test suites to enable success and rapid deployment of code to production.
• Collaborate with other team members in agile processes.
• Work with the Product Team to ensure user stories are valuable, developer ready, easy to understand and testable.
• Deliver multi-mode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences.
• Help grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions.
• Telecommuting available.

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation. Alternate combination of education and experience: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical & Computer Engineering, or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post baccalaureate experience in the job offered on in a related occupation. 2 years of experience in the following skills are required:1. SAP; 2. MS Office; 3. MS Visio; 4. Quick Book Pro; 5. SQL.

The pay range for this position is between $149,760 - $180,000
