Platform Lead - AI, Business Intelligence and Data Engineering

We are seeking a Platform Lead in AI, Business Intelligence, and Data Engineering to guide our data platform to new levels. Your primary focus will be developing our platform's data capabilities through data flow, visualizations and AI.

As a Platform Lead, you'll be responsible for leading our SaaS platforms data efforts and its effective use of AI and data visualization. You will ensure our platform continues to adopt new and evolving AI technologies while growing our data platforms abilities.

Responsibilities Include:

• Design and implement robust, scalable backend services using Python.
• Collaborate closely with frontend developers and the product team to ensure the APIs meet their needs.
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and user-friendly APIs using Python.
• Apply strong problem-solving skills to troubleshoot and resolve any API-related issues.
• Maintain high attention to detail to ensure the quality of the code.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members through training, code reviews and providing constructive feedback to improve overall code quality.
• Continually update knowledge on new technologies and trends to keep our APIs current and efficient.
  

Requirements

• BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject.
• Proven experience as a Backend Developer or similar role.
• Strong experience with Python is required.
• Familiarity with data-driven projects and API design.
• Experience with caching and authentication mechanisms.
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and Docker.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
