Guests at Margaritaville Lake Resort come to experience the special vibes that only the Margaritaville brand can provide! We are looking for bright, confident and outgoing students to join the Front Desk team and learn this side of the industry and be part of the warmest welcome our resort can offer, by creating and delivering FUN AND ESCAPISM for our guests. Experience is not required - we will train you on the job and we will work with you to ensure you meet your school requirements for a formal internship too!

This position is a temporary summer internship, which will begin in late May 2026 and end in early August 2026 (end dates are flexible). You must be a current college student to qualify, with preference for students in a Hospitality-related field of study. You must be able to work a flexible schedule of full time hours throughout the summer period. Shared, affordable accommodation is available for participants on the summer work program/ internship within 1 mile of the resort. Shift times will vary and can include early mornings or late nights.

Front Desk Internship $15.00 per hour
To work on the Front Desk, you must be upbeat, clear thinking, a confident communicator with excellent English language skills. You must be at least 18 years of age and possess an outgoing and positive attitude as well as a willingness to learn in a fast-paced environment. There are opportunities for those who want to learn what goes on behind the scenes too. Spend time on the PBX Operator seat taking and directing calls, greet our guests at the door with a warm welcome and assist them with directions, luggage and information, talk to or shadow the Managers, learn about forecasting and scheduling and even the Night Auditor position. The possibilities are up to you! You must be able to stand for long periods of time, be an excellent communicator in English, present a confident and friendly personality and be able to remain calm under pressure.

Requirements
This position requires:
• Fluency in English to communicate with our guests
• Ability to be on your feet for long periods of time - standing, walking, reaching, bending
• Ability to push/ pull/ carry up to 30lbs
• Ability to use a computer and cash register (with training)
• Confidence in handling cash and card payments
• Confidence in communicating with guests, vendors, managers and coworkers
• Must be at least 18 years of age for Front Desk
