Overview
The XL Center is currently undergoing an extensive transformation with a focus on creating new and renovating current premium seating areas. The Account Executive, Premium Sales role is responsible for generating revenue through multi-year premium sales inclusive of annual suite leases and loge boxes, club membership sales, and event-by-event sales. This role also acts as a dedicated customer service representative to our premium clients via phone, email, in-person meetings, and web chats, all while proactively engaging with accounts to drive revenue growth.
The ideal candidate has some experience with premium sales and a proven track record in Business-to-Business sales, leads by example, possesses the ability to establish solid business relationships, maintains a professional attitude and maximizes opportunities to increase revenue potential, drive attendance, and retention.
This role pays an annual salary of $60,000 to $70,000.

Responsibilities
• Meet or exceed established revenue goals tied to monthly and/or yearly annual goals for contracted revenue, new business sales, and event-by-event sales. • Prospect, network, set appointments, and aggressively sell all available inventory including suite lease agreements as well as loge box and club memberships.• Continuous follow up on leads provided through sales enablement tools and conduct sales via phone, virtual, email and in-office meetings/sales center presentations. • Enhance relationships with new and existing clients and premium members to create memorable experiences and share best practices related to specific goals and initiatives. • Perform accurate and skilled deal-closing. • Provide high-end service for our premium seating clients, including but not limited to collection of payments, receiving executed license agreements, managing day-to-day special requests, etc. • Submit requested timely reports to management, including weekly and monthly reports. • Utilize Salesforce, enter all pertinent prospect and customer information in CRM platforms for efficient reporting and historical data purposes. • Maximize relationships with clients/members to identify new revenue opportunities. • Serve as the primary point of contact for an assigned book of business. • Design, present and execute annual proposals for new prospects and referrals from clients. • Positively contribute to the sales and service culture by developing mutually beneficial working relationships with all associates across various departments within the organizations. • Participate and contribute to daily and/or weekly team meetings and training sessions. • Perform other related tasks as assigned. • Frequent bending, sitting, exposure to multiple external elements, extensive walking through the building.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Sports Management, Marketing or another related education and work experience. Relevant experience may be substituted for education. • Minimum of two (2) years of professional sales experience, preferably in the sports & entertainment industry. • Considerable knowledge of sales processes and procedures.• Demonstrated ability to establish solid business relationships. • Strong knowledge of sales strategies and service principles. • Ability to multi-task and work on multiple projects at a time within a team environment. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Calendar. • Must be able to work a flexible schedule inclusive of weekends, nights and holidays as required.
