Storage/Containerization Architect, Senior

Join a new and exciting opportunity to protect national security and provide premier mission focused IT services for a dynamic and growing program.  Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Storage/Containerization Architect, Senior, to join our team in Annapolis Junction, MD. 

In this role, you will perform as a consultant in highly specialized, leading edge information technologies and methodologies and provide highly technical and specialized guidance concerning automated solutions to complex information processing problems. 

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 

• Provide technical leadership and is responsible for the development of new storage infrastructure and information Lifecycle Management designs, including requirements and analysis.

• Performs end-to-end analysis on the performance of the storage infrastructure, presents findings and submits recommendations for improvement.

• Integrate and test VMware ESX storage solutions using VAST storage systems including data de-duplication and disk backups essential to critical services during a catastrophic event.

• Deploy system hardware and software complied with secure configuration requirements based on Information Systems Security Best Practices for vulnerability mitigation and in support of the Certification and Accreditation (C&A) process.

• Lead project planning; ensure schedule milestones are met and present deliverables to the government leadership team.

• Research emerging storage technologies and associated hardware / software products and provide recommendations to senior managers to help meet current and future mission requirements and resolve customer deficiencies.

Basic Qualifications: 

• Minimum of fifteen (15) years’ experience storage operations or storage architecture. Ten (10) years of experience in the specific storage technology (VAST) that is in the customer environment.

• IAT II certification.

• Familiar with NetApp/NAS/SAS Storage

Preferred Qualifications:

• Twenty (20) years' storage operations experience.

• Six (6) years additional program management experience of similar scope, type, and complexity with the Federal Government may be substituted for a Bachelors degree.

Security Clearance Requirements: 

• Current/Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
