What you will be doing
Contributing to the development of robust foundations for our payments ecosystem
Assisting in the creation of innovative, scalable, and high-quality software in PHP.
Collaborating with a cross-functional team of engineers, product managers, designers, and data analysts to develop features at scale.
Supporting the design, development, and maintenance of APIs, services, and systems across the engineering teams.
Learning to evaluate and solve complex technical challenges under the guidance of experienced engineers.
Growing your skills and knowledge rapidly while contributing to impactful projects.
What you'll bring
A foundational knowledge of PHP is essential; experience with other languages (e.g., Java, Go, Python) is a plus.
Basic understanding of software development methodologies and best practices.
Enthusiasm for building scalable systems and an interest in learning about software architecture and design patterns.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to tackle new challenges.
Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
Nice to haves
Familiarity with cloud environments such as Google Cloud Platform or similar.
An understanding of distributed systems or event-streaming concepts.
Exposure to or interest in Payments or FinTech sectors.
Experience in service migrations (e.g., from monoliths to microservices) or an eagerness to learn about architectural trade-offs
