Hybrid – Buffalo, NYMoog’s Global Infrastructure Services Team is looking for a Global Network Manager to join them!
In this role, you will be responsible for the architecture, engineering excellence, security posture, and delivery of Moog’s global network infrastructure. You will lead the transition from ad-hoc, relationship-driven networking to a standardized, secure, and operationally scalable global network platform.
You will be the owner of network engineering standards, while driving modernization initiatives, and ensuring that solutions are designed for secure 24x7 operation before being transitioned into operations teams. You are a key partner to Information Security, Infrastructure Operations, Facilities, and global business stakeholders.
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role in East Aurora, NY, requiring close collaboration with corporate IT leadership and engineering teams.

A bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related discipline. (Equivalent experience will also be considered).
Over eight (8) years of experience in enterprise network engineering.
Over three (3) years in a technical leadership or engineering management role.
Deep expertise with:
Enterprise routing and switching
Firewall platforms and security architecture
SD-WAN technologies
Network automation and scripting
Demonstrated experience designing and operating networks for global, 24x7 operations.

Infrastructure as Code experience (e.g. Terraform, Ansible, vendor APIs).
VoIP/Unified Communications architecture experience.

Network Architecture & Engineering Leadership
Ownership of global network architecture across LAN, WAN, WLAN, SD-WAN, firewall, VPN, and voice services
Definition and maintenance of network engineering standards, reference architectures, and design authority
Leading architectural reviews to ensure scalability, resiliency, security, and operational readiness
Driving adoption of Infrastructure as Code, automation, and repeatable design patterns
Network Security & Firewall Governance
Establishment and ownership of firewall engineering standards, templates, and lifecycle processes
Leading the shift to engineering-managed firewall operations with security acting as policy approver
Partnering with Information Security on Zero Trust strategy and implementation
Ensuring network designs meet audit, compliance, and risk requirements
Engineering Excellence & Documentation
Elevating engineering maturity through consistent documentation, design artifacts, and reviews
Embedding failure mode and effects analysis (FMEA) into network design and change processes
Reducing single points of knowledge and dependency on informal relationships
Project & Delivery Management
Leading complex global network initiatives from concept through operational handoff
Ensuring projects are delivered predictably with clear scope, milestones, and risk management
Partnering with project management resources while maintaining engineering accountability
