AL - Life Enrichment Assistant

Description

Grand Villa of Boynton Beach is an assisted living community that takes pride in their residents. We are looking for someone energetic and outgoing. The ideal candidate would be someone who engages residents in group activities including but not limited to singing, exercising, game play, etc. 

As an Assistant this person would be responsible for implementing and coordinating life enriching, person centered care programs and activities for residents as assigned by the Life Enrichment Coordinator. As a Life Enrichment Assistant, you may occasionally transport residents in the company vehicle to doctors' appointments, grocery, errands, etc. 

This position offers a flexible schedule including weekends.

Must be sensitive to the social, emotional and physical needs of the residents as well as respect their right to dignity and self-determination. Patience and good communications skills are essential. Will act in a professional manner and respond calmly in emergency situations. Must be observant and report any changes in the physical, emotional or mental health of the residents.
