Cycle Counter - Material Handler III

How Will You Make an Impact?
As a Cycle Counter – Material Handler III, you’ll play a key role in maintaining inventory accuracy across all material movement operations. You will act as the lead in the absence of the Supervisor, reconciling inventory variances, supporting key material functions, and ensuring proper documentation and execution of transactions in SAP. Your attention to detail and ability to work across multiple departments will ensure operational efficiency and support on-time production delivery.
What Will You Do?
Inventory Management & Cycle Counting:
Perform daily cycle counts and reconcile inventory variances in SAP.
Report line record accuracy and material discrepancies to the Supervisor and Manager.
Complete material disposition forms and process backflushing transactions in the ERP system.
Stockroom & Return to Stock (RTS):
Place materials into inventory using RF scanners and verify SAP transactions.
Pull and split kits per procedures; scan kits and pull shortages to ensure completeness.
Count all returned material to ensure system accuracy.
Maintain organized stockroom and box build areas, ensuring Kanban bins are full.
Support physical and system material movements between locations.
Receiving:
Receive and verify incoming shipments against bills of lading and packing slips.
Complete receipt-to-dock transactions for production materials in SAP.
Perform de-trashing of shipments prior to line delivery.
Receiving Inspection:
Perform inspections per ISO procedures and inspection plans.
Verify inventory quantities, packing slips, and quality documentation.
Complete SAP transactions to move material appropriately.
Perform direct inventory adjustments as needed.
Obtain and maintain IPC-A-610 Quality Inspection Certification.
Shipping:
Execute domestic and international shipping per documented procedures.
Schedule transportation using approved carriers per Jabil or customer guidelines.
Perform accurate physical movements and system transactions related to shipping.
Support month-end close activities, which may include extended work hours.
Leadership Support:
Act as lead in Supervisor’s absence and serve as liaison between Production Control, Production Management, and the production line on material or shortage-related issues.
How Will You Get Here?
Education & Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Previous experience in materials handling, inventory control, or shipping/receiving preferred.
Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems is a strong plus.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Strong understanding of warehouse and inventory control procedures.
Experience with RF scanning and SAP inventory transactions.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Basic math and analytical skills (add, subtract, multiply, divide, compute rate/ratio/percent).
Ability to read and follow instructions, correspondence, and visual aids.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and internal systems (SAP, ERP).
Strong communication skills; able to interact effectively with team members, leadership, and cross-functional departments.
Ability to lead by example and take initiative in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
Able to lift up to 15 lbs and work on the production floor as needed.
