Join our Core Business Services (CBS) team and you will help support the important business enablement functions that keep our organization running strong. As a CBS professional, you will work across teams to provide the knowledge, resources, and tools that help EY deliver exceptional quality service to our clients, win in the marketplace, and support EY’s growth and profitability. Major teams within CBS include Finance, Information Technology, Human Resources, Enterprise Support Services, Brand Marketing and Communications, Business Development, Knowledge, and Ethics & Compliance.

 

The Ethics & Compliance function helps protect EY from risks that arise from its professional practice. Ethics & Compliance teams provide coordinated advice and assistance on independence, conflicts, regulatory and risk management issues, as well as dealing with claims, and any queries regarding the organization’s ethics.

 

Job Summary:

As an Americas Ethics & Compliance Training and Awareness Senior Associate, you will support the firmwide Ethics & Compliance Program efforts, through:

• Execution of an effective communication, training, and engagement strategy to support a culture of integrity and accountability and advise professionals across a range of service lines, industry sectors, and geographic Areas
• Supporting the management of the EY Ethics Program, including oversight, awareness raising, and execution of data driven initiatives
• Maintaining framework activities to assist the Ethics & Compliance team in embedding ethics into the rhythm of business with a shared vision throughout EY
• Identifying and implementing modifications and enhancements, enabling the process(es) to support firm priorities and needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, maintain, and execute an Ethics & Compliance communication plan and training approach to embed EY culture across the firm and highlight key ethics responsibilities  
• Build an Ethics & Compliance toolkit to improve processes and awareness across various levels of firm leadership and empower our people to lead their teams in living our values
• Leverage data analytics to identify trends in behavior and identify opportunities to improve our culture and ethics program
• Assist in executing the ethics framework across the firm, implementing new strategy, and reviewing the application of the ethics program foundational elements
• Contribute and support design and launch of relevant Ethics & Compliance training programs for the business
• Keep abreast of emerging knowledge, trends and lessons learned. Identify topics for training presentations to communicate new developments (and their impact) to clients and Ethics & Compliance team members.
• Recommend ways to improve process(es) and learning, and/or develop new approaches, calling on your Ethics & Compliance, technical, and business experience
• Coordinate updates that are provided through strategic and ongoing meetings
• Assist Code of Conduct affirmation process
• Create and manage standard Ethics & Compliance program communications
• Gain an understanding of the key requirements of firm policies and regulators' rules regarding ethics, integrity and operating an ethics program. Translate this knowledge into action plans and recommendations as appropriate
