HYBRID ROLE
The Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) ensures alignment with organizational objectives and manages the day to day operations of the HR function. The general scope of responsibility includes recruitment, employee relations, training and development, benefits, and compensation administration, HRIS oversight and compliance with employment law requirements. This individual will consult with leaders on employment matters, proposing new strategies, and offering guidance. This role will be involved in evaluating HR needs, trend analysis and collaborating with departments to craft effective solutions and policies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of the HR function, including recruitment, on/off-boarding, performance management, employee relations, training and development, compensation, and benefits administration.
- Collaborate with US HR Team to assist in the implementation of Global HR strategies and initiatives at the local Opco levels.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that help keep local OpCo’s aligned with the overall business strategy.
- Partner with senior leadership to provide guidance and support on HR-related matters, including organizational design, workforce planning, and talent management.
- Participate on US HR team to provide support on HR projects and initiatives that provide all US OpCo’s with the best HR Service possible.
- Build and maintain visible and meaningful working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders and partners.
- Manages and resolves complex employee relations issues, addresses grievances, and conducts effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable labor laws and regulations and maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices.
- Handles the recruitment process for new openings, including but limited to, posting job openings, sourcing candidates, and coordinating interviews.
- Conducts onboarding and exit interview surveys to monitor employee sentiment.
- Evaluates and anticipates HR-related needs and communicates needs with the leaders and US HR team.
- Provide offer letters and contracts for new hires, promotions, and transfers.
- Facilitates the pre-screening and document completion, including USCIS form I-9 Employment Verification as needed.
- Facilitates leaves of absence, and worker’s compensation claims while facilitating the communication and administration of these programs with managers and employees.
- Monitors employee eligibility and ensures accuracy of employee information in benefit portals. Communicates benefits program information to maximize employee awareness and understanding of offerings.
- Works with management and employees to improve work relationships and build morale, in order to increase productivity and retention.
- Provides HR policy guidance and interpretation.
- Maintains employee files; updates organizational chart with employment changes; tracks necessary information for reporting (e.g. Sustainability reporting).
- Maintains current HR information in SharePoint folders for employee visibility.
- Performs all other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from a four-year college or university in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 5+ years of Human Resources experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- SHRM-CP and/or PHR and PHR-CA certifications desired.
