As a Senior Test Automation Engineer you will join our ART Channels (primarily e-banking solutions) as an embedded QA Engineer in one of our teams. Your primary objective will be to design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks and scripts to ensure the quality and reliability of our software applications. Additionally, you will provide guidance and support to the team on software quality-related topics, including development testing, and ensure an efficient testing setup to maximize testing throughput and minimize overall testing effort.

YOUR CHALLENGE

• Work as an embedded tester in an Agile team

• Being responsible for all testing initiatives of the team

• Test case design to ensure proper coverage of requirements and the execution of the same.Identify tests for test automation

• Automate identified test cases using the BJB Cucumber/Selenium Framework (includes RESTAssured and Appium) and implement them on UI or API level for both mobile and desktop

• Perform manual testing as needed, including periods where manual testing may be the primary responsibility

• Create or organise required Test data

• Maintain (add, remove, update) regression test cases

• Execute and document the execution of tests in an audit proved manner

• Defect Management

• Continuous improvement of testing within Channels in line with the Global Test Strategy and the testing concept of Channels, aligned with the (Domain) Test Manager

 

YOUR PROFILE

• Sound experience with mobile ebanking solutions

• Experience in leading/supporting all testing initiatives of an agile team from Dev to acceptance testing

• Work experience in an agile team is mandatory, in a DevOps setup is a plus

• Strong experience in Test case design (TCD) to ensure proper coverage of requirements/acceptance criteria

• Strong experience in risk based testing

• Extensive experience in test automation of mobile and desktop solutions using Cucumber/Selenium/RESTAssured and Appium on both, UI and API level in a Java environment

• Used to perform manual testing as needed, including periods where manual testing may be the primary responsibility

• Experience with SQL

• Self-guided exploration of database to find relevant data

• Good Jira knowledge. Basic XRAY knowledge is a plus

Education and skills:

• Excellent command in English (C1/C2)

• BSc/MSc in Computer Science, Engineering or related field

• ISTQB Foundation Level certification is a plus

• Accurate and reliable
