Location: Gainesville, FL
Schedule: Night Shifts (Rotating Weekends)

Compensation:

• 2 years of experience: $30.69/hour

• 5 years of experience: $33.71/hour

• 17+ years of experience: $43.20/hour

Sign-On Bonus: $20,000
Relocation Assistance: Available on a case-by-case basis

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced and adaptable Registered Nurse to join our Observation/Med-Surgical Unit in Gainesville, FL. This fast-paced unit specializes in high-turnover patient care, often treating individuals with chest pain and similar acute conditions. Ideal candidates are comfortable with frequent admissions and discharges, and thrive in a dynamic clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care in a fast-moving setting

• Conduct assessments, implement individualized care plans, and monitor patient progress

• Coordinate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members to ensure patient-centered care

• Manage multiple admissions and discharges during a single shift

• Maintain accurate, timely documentation of care

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care experience (within the last 4 years) in Observation, Med-Surg, or Emergency Room settings

• Licensure: Current Florida RN license or compact RN license (must obtain Florida licensure within 90 days of hire if using compact)

• Education: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required; BSN preferred

• Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of employment
