JOB SUMMARY

The EHR Manager assists staff in the use of the agency EHR, under the supervision of the EHR Administrator.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential functions are duties which are primary to the position. An individual must be able to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. The essential functions of this position are:

  1. Point of contact for all staff for IT ticket requests and serves as an IT Ticket Portal Adm in.
  2. Manages/processes all agency record requests and serves as the point of contact for this function.
  3. Assists in all EHR upgrades, migrations, and implementations.
  4. Manages the agency EHR System Administration for all new hires and terminations.
  5. Attends all EHR/IT Vendor calls as requested by the EHR Administrator.

SECONDARY FUNCTIONS

Secondary functions are duties, which are not exclusive of the position and can be performed by other positions; however, secondary duties are to be performed for the efficiency of The Counseling Center, Inc.

  1. Provides backup support for the EHR Administrator.
  2. Runs EHR audits for both staff and clients.
  3. All other duties as assigned.

  3. Strong communication and leadership skills, including communication and interpersonal skills with public, co-workers, and clients
  4. Works independently and displays appropriate decision-making skills and able to seek supervision when appropriate
       
  1. Technology driven individual that is comfortable working with multiple software applications, (ie.NextGen, Outlook, Excel, Word) is able to report out of the medical records system, and communicate/disseminate information to management and others
  2. Works within state and federal guidelines to protect privacy of clients and others
  3. Ability to Multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
  4. Ability to travel to the agency sites to perform duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS, INCLUDING TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

  1. High School diploma or equivalent.
  2. Prior experience in an office setting of a least three (3) years preferred and/or including computer experience; relevant experience considered.
  3. Prior experience working within electronic health systems and other computer software systems.
  4. Knowledge about the disease of addiction and/or other Behavioral health conditions preferred.
