Basic Eligibility For A Position With The NRO

Where You Will Work
Within the NRO Signals Intelligence (SIGINT) Systems Acquisition Directorate, the Low Earth Orbit (LEO) Systems Program Office (LSPO) defines, acquires, deploys, monitors, and assesses the performance of the LEO SIGINT satellites, which provide a worldwide capability to assist in geolocation operations against adversaries. LEO SIGINT collection enables the Intelligence Community to plan, monitor, and execute tracking and locating operations in the pursuit of national strategic interests.
LSPO has an exciting opportunity for a Program Manager looking for program office experience. As the program Transition Implementation Plan (TIP) Lead, the incumbent will be responsible to ensure the end-to-end system of a multi-million dollar next generation program is successfully integrated with the enterprise throughout its transition to full operational capability. They lead a multi-disciplinary team coordinating with both the enterprise and interagency stakeholders to manage scope and execution of on-orbit space vehicle payload calibration to meet the Operational Readiness Demonstration milestone. The TIP Lead takes responsibility to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to resolve/prioritize discrepancy work-offs to maintain LSPO schedule. The TIP Lead will also coordinate and engage across the NRO to ensure all policies and requirements of the enterprise are met to enable the delivery of a completed end-to-end collection segment into operations. This job will provide a tremendous amount of experience in the practical aspects of coordinating, calibrating, and delivering operational space systems. The TIP Lead is responsible for distributing information to multiple sources in a clear, straightforward, and objective manner to senior leadership.
