Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide thought leadership across Visa and the digital commerce ecosystem for Visa Token Service and Visa’s Digital Payment Products, functioning as a subject matter expert and evangelist with a narrative across press releases, events, industry forums, and global trainings or webinars.

  • Formulate & execute on strategies towards near-term and long-term goals for Visa Token Service and Visa’s digital commerce business.  Craft narratives that further tokens’ role in the payments ecosystem both at the high-level but also tactically for sales pitches.

  • Product marketing: Build global pricing strategies, positioning, marketing assets, and global frameworks to accelerate adoption of Visa Token Service.  Engage with key global merchants, payments service providers, issuers, and technology companies for iterative feedback in enabling different revenue opportunities and supporting sales efforts

  • Sales operations/Enablement: Ensure success of Visa’s global and regional sales efforts by creating and managing scalable programs, tools, assets, tracking and reporting.  Support regions in product activation and launch plans of critical product initiatives and strategic projects across global markets.

  • Strategic initiatives: Own and drive strategic initiatives end-to-end, working cross-functionally across global and regional teams towards time-sensitive goals and outcomes.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
  • Prior experience in pricing strategy, business development, management consulting, or product management.
  • Prior experience in financial services or payments industry.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • MBA appreciated but not required.
  • Flexible, positive and results-oriented attitude works well with changing timelines and priorities and can proactively manage up. Works with a sense of urgency and makes efforts to motivate others towards common goals.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to develop clear, insightful PowerPoint presentations, internal briefs and reports.
  • Demonstrated ability to gather and synthesize complex information, make sound tactical decisions, and communicate such information in a clear, simple way to a variety of audiences, ranging from senior executives to working-level technical specialists.
  • Ability to formulate and communicate strategies rooted in deep knowledge of product, consumer, and market factors, with the ability to think creatively and outside the box
  • Self-starter who identifies areas of opportunity and drives forward efficiencies, processes, global strategies and goals forward with cross-functional stakeholders and clients.
  • Technical aptitude: Demonstrated ability to work with complex products or capabilities, the ideal candidate will have an existing basic understanding of mobile and digital payment technologies.
  • Working proficiency with Microsoft suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word) required, experience with Microsoft Sharepoint and sales operations tools (Salesforce or other) preferred.
  • Prior experience in pricing strategy, business development, management consulting, or product management.
  • Prior experience in financial services or payments industry.
