About the Role

The Adobe Experience Platform (AEP) Product Success Engineering (PSE) team is seeking a Senior Manager, Data & Analytics Platform Engineering to lead the design, development, and reliability of a cloud-native data platform that powers product adoption insights, customer retention analytics, system monitoring, and operational intelligence.

You will own the data platform layer that enables Data Scientists, Analytics Engineers, and BI teams to build scalable, reliable analytics and ML solutions. Partnering closely with the Director of Data Science & Engineering, you’ll translate analytics and ML requirements into robust platform capabilities operating at enterprise scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Define and execute the technical strategy and roadmap for data & analytics platform capabilities

  • Lead a team of Data Platform Engineers (8–15+) and foster a culture of technical excellence and operational rigor

  • Architect and operate scalable data pipelines, cloud data warehouses, orchestration frameworks, and governance systems

  • Enable batch, real-time, and event-driven analytics and ML workflows

  • Establish best practices for data quality, governance, reliability, performance, and cost optimization

  • Partner cross-functionally with Data Science, Product, Business Operations, and Cloud Infrastructure teams

Core Platform Areas

  • Data Ingestion & Pipelines: Cloud-native ETL/ELT, streaming, and event-driven architectures

  • Data Warehousing & Storage: Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift, or similar

  • Orchestration: Airflow, Dagster, Prefect

  • Governance & Quality: Catalogs, lineage, access control, and automated data quality

  • Analytics & BI: Self-service analytics and BI integrations

Required Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Computer Science or related field

  • 10+ years in software/data engineering, including 5+ years in senior engineering leadership

  • Deep expertise in large-scale data platforms, pipelines, and cloud data warehouses

  • Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), infrastructure-as-code, and DevOps practices

  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders

  • Experience with real-time analytics, streaming platforms, and MLOps

  • Familiarity with modern data stack tools (dbt, Great Expectations)

  • Experience building customer-facing or product analytics platforms

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several  U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $160,200 -- $320,000 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. In California, the pay range for this position is $221,000 - $320,000

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
