System Administrator I (Client Systems)

Overview

Abacus Technology is seeking a Systems Administrator to provide client server support for the Air Force Intranet Control (AFINC) III Support program at Maxwell AFB/Gunter Annex.  This is a full-time position.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, patch, and deploy STIG compliant standard desktop images for both individual imaging and mass imaging requirements with deployment servers.
• Install, troubleshoot, replace peripherals as needed.

Qualifications

3+ years experience in systems administration.  HS diploma or GED.  Must be Security+ certified.  Must hold one of the following certifications: CompTIA Server+; Microsoft 365 Certified: Fundamentals; or Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate.  Experience installing, testing, optimizing, maintaining, hardening, upgrading, patching, designing, and documenting supporting systems, utility programs, and monitoring tools for desktops, laptops, docking stations, tablets, printers, scanners, multi‐function devices, media converters, and uninterruptible power supplies.  Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, and an ability to conceptualize server infrastructures and configurations.  Must be a US citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
