Job Overview
We are currently looking for a Senior Human Resources Business Partner to join our onsite corporate team based at Haworth Global Headquarters in Holland, MI. This is a salaried, exempt position that can be filled at a P3, Senior HRBP, or P4, Lead HRBP dependent on candidate's qualifications. The position reports to Abbey Stevens.
As a Senior Human Resources Business Partner you will:
Serve as a strategic advisor to business leaders to drive the alignment of HR solutions with business strategies. Contribute to the design and implementation of key HR programs, leveraging your in-depth knowledge of HR principles and best practices to solve complex problems.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary HR contact for assigned functional department(s), supporting employee relations, talent development, and compliance.
- Conduct thorough investigations into member issues including harassment, discrimination, and performance concerns. Review investigation results and follow company policies and procedures to take appropriate action.Lead and manage HR initiatives, such as talent management, succession planning, and organizational development.
- Provide strategic HR guidance to business leaders, aligning HR initiatives with business objectives.
- Alongside other HRBP's and HR Leaders, develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and best practices.
- Manage complex member relations issues, including conflict resolution, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
- Conduct HR audits to assess compliance with policies and procedures.
- Analyze HR metrics to identify trends and measure the effectiveness of HR programs.
- Must be able to perform all essential job functions with/without accommodation.
- Uses office automation, communication, software, and tools used in Haworth office environment.
- Performs other duties within scope as assigned.
Required Qualifications
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in Human Resources, with direct experience in HR business partnership supporting senior leadership. (3 years with Masters degree)
- Education Equivalency:
- Associate's Degree plus 2 years related experience or,
- 4 years related experience if no post-secondary education.
- Education Equivalency:

In addition:
- Applicants must be able to work in Holland, MI without relocation assistance.
- Applicants must possess an unrestricted right to work in the US to be eligible for this position.
Preferred Qualifications
- Professional HR certification such as SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, HRCI, PHR, SPHR, or CPHR.
- Experience working with SAP or similar HRIS platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Planner.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
