Employee Health Nurse- PRN

The Employee Health Nurse assists the provider with occupational medicine appointments and is responsible for the following programs at MCCH: implement immunization programs and monitor compliance; exposure monitoring and sharps injury follow-up; implement and monitor compliance of the respirator safety program; employee infectious disease tracking and clearance; random drug screening program and employee education regarding employee health issues. The nurse oversees clinical functions such as urine drug testing, pulmonary function, breath alcohol, respirator fit testing, hearing audiology, PPD and Phlebotomy.
Minimum Education
LPN - Graduate of an accredited LPN Program
RN- Graduate of an accredited nursing program. Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
Minimum Work Experience
Minimum of one year experience in a similar position preferred.
Required Licenses
Must be licensed in the state of Kentucky.
